ShiaRishte.com is an online matchmaking service designed to provide an easy way for our members to find their life partner. Once members create their profile, the public may view their profile except the name and contact information. Members may exchange name and contact information only after both parties have provided consent.

There are two types of information we collect that users submit: public and private. Private information is any information that allows others to contact a user outside of ShiaRishte.com. This includes, but is not limited to, the user’s email, name, phone number and IP address. Public information is personal information that may be displayed on the site, such as gender, age, height, ethnic background, appearance etc, but cannot be used to identify a particular individual.

Information not submitted by User
This is information we collect that is not personally identifiable This includes, but is not limited to browser type, IP address, location. This information is gathered for all visitors to the site.

Use of Information
Email addresses submitted by members are used by us when forwarding anonymous emails. Respondees’ email addresses are not disclosed to the responder except in the case of a two-way request. We may use a user’s email address to send news regarding our site. Email addresses may also be used in private correspondence with the user for customer service issues. All other private information submitted by the user is confidential and will not be disclosed except as required by law. All private information can be updated or deleted by the user at any time.

Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your private information without your permission unless required by law or for the protection of your membership.
